Tambuwal, Ortom, Kwankwaso, others attend first PDP NEC
Sokoto State governor, Aminu Tambuwal, his counterpart in Benue State, Samuel Ortom; former Kano State Governor and serving senator, Rabiu Kwankwaso as well as Barnabas Gemade are among the new defectors currently attending their first National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).
The quartet recently defected from the governing All Progressives Congress (APC) to the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Also in attendance is the Nigeria’s Ambassador to South Africa, Ahmed Ibeto, who recently resigned his appointment and pitched his tent with the PDP.
The 81st NEC meeting currently holding at the party’s national secretariat in Abuja, is aimed at welcoming defectors to the main opposition party.
