The developers and promoters of Heritage Place have appointed Estatelinks and Pro Africa estate agents for the 14-floor office complex located at the Lugard Avenue-Kingsway junction in Ikoyi, Lagos.
Estatelinks is a firm of estate surveyors and valuers with a wide network of affiliates in the UK, USA and South Africa. The company is very active in the commercial real estate sector and specialises in settling multinational companies coming into Nigeria for high end commercial and residential properties.
Apart from its Lagos headquarters, ir also has an office in Abuja, and has carved a niche for itself in the residential and commercial segments of the real estate sector in Lagos and Abuja.
Gbenga Olaniyan, the company’s CEO, told BusinessDay that their choice to provide agency services on the iconic building was not a surprise, explaining that “Estatelinks has been consulting for Actis, a private equity investor, for a few years and we were chosen together with Pro Africa for our international exposure as well.”

Continuing, he said, both companies were selected mid 2012 and are joint letting agents actively working with a network of agents to ensure that the right mix of tenants are sourced for this property which is first of its kind in Nigeria.”
Actis, with its positive power of capital, is leading Primrose Development Company (PDC) and Laurus Development Partners in the development of what promises to be an iconic first green office building in Nigeria.
The office complex, to be known as Heritage Place, is a 14-floor building that will further enhance the Ikoyi real estate skyline where it will be located at the Lugard Avenue and Kingsway Road crossroads.
“This ultra modern, eco-friendly building is Nigeria’s most advanced development, employing the latest building principles and state-of-the-art finishes; Heritage Place is set to become one of Lagos’s most recognizable and accessible buildings,” said Ngozi Edozien, Actis CEO, at the pre-launch presentation of the project to industry stakeholders in Lagos.
According to her, the consortium is a world class project team with Actis as the developer/investor while Prime Rose and Laurus are the development managers.
She disclosed that Actis invests exclusively in the emerging markets, adding that with a growing portfolio of investments in Asia, Africa and Latin America, the company currently has US$5.2 billion funds under management.
